Last weekend, over ten of the Acme team ventured out in challenging weather conditions for a very special sponsored walk, in memory of Carlie Morrison and in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust.

They joined colleagues from Pentland Wholesale and The Canopy Company, as well as family and friends of Carlie.

Carlie is the late daughter of Nathan Morrison (of Pentland Wholesale) and wife Claire, and sadly passed away in June 2019 from a rare soft tissue disease. Carlie and the family were heavily supported by the Teenage Cancer Trust and the team wanted to do something to give back to and support the charity.

Nathan, Claire, Leigh, Bridget & Anne coordinated fundraising and have managed to collect over £4,000 from a wide variety of friends, family, colleagues, customers and suppliers.

The walk itself was challenging given the bad weather, with several areas flooded and heavy rain throughout. However the team soldiered on and completed a walk of around 10km.
