Acme are delighted to kick off 2018 by announcing a strong 25% growth in group turnover, the appointment of a new Director and a newly launched recruitment drive as part of the companies’ growth strategy.
Provisional year-end results show that Group turnover has increased from roughly £24m in 2016 to £30m in 2017, representing a strong 25% growth. Chris Allen, Group Managing Director said, “2017 was a strong year for Acme and we’re proud to have hired over 15 new staff to further build on our team. We’re continuing our investment in staff and facilities in 2018, with plans to further expand our team and implement some exciting new IT systems. Acme has gained a reputation for quality and it’s important that we continue to build on our award-winning services to ensure we remain front-runners in customer service excellence”.
Acme’s ambitious growth plan will see the business take on further sales and engineering staff in 2018. Chris Allen added, “Acme has grown into one of the UK’s most renowned HVAC, Catering & Refrigeration Solution Providers, but we’re not resting on our laurels. We’ve just launched our ambitious 2018 strategic plan which will take the business on the next stage of its journey. Our recent appointments are representative of our investment in that strategy and we’re delighted to announce even more new vacancies, created to help the company grow”. Paul Kitchin joined the Acme Board in December 2017 as Sales Director. Previously of Sprint Group, Paul has over 10 years’ experience in Catering & HVAC sales and is set to bring a wealth of expertise to the Sales Division. Paul will be tasked with growing the Acme Sales team in the coming months and years to help deliver on the Groups’ strategic plan.
