This week is the end of an era. It’s the week that we wave goodbye to Alan Meats – Acme’s longest serving member of staff. Alan, who has worked for Acme (with a small gap!) since 1970, is taking up his well-earned retirement at the end of this week. If you want to wish him farewell, Thursday 26th July will be his last day with the business…
This year represents the 15th year that Acme have been NICEIC accredited. This is a great achievement for the company in what is a highly regulated and detailed accreditation.
This morning, the team have brought in a whole host of cakes and goodies to sell in aid of Macmillan Cancer. We’re hoping to raise a record amount of money this year as part of Macmillan Cancers’ ‘Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning’.

Last month, Acme completed a project with Leeds University Union (LUU) to design and build four new commercial kitchens for their Students’ Union refurbishment. As part of the £16m project, all four kitchens were refurbished to cater for the increased needs of LUU’s four restaurants and bars…
